BioJapan 2025の開催を10月に控え、今年も海外からバイオものづくり関係機関の参加が予定されています。そこで、当日の交流促進を目的として、参加機関を紹介するセミナーを開催します。 第2回は、英国から来日するEngineering Biology関連企業についてご紹介します。

本セミナーでは、BioJapan当日の交流促進を図ることを目的として、事前に来日企業等に各社の取り組みをご紹介いただきます。
Engineering Biologyは、気候変動や食料安全保障から人間の健康に至るまで、地球規模の様々な課題に対して、革新的な取り組となるよう導いています。
すなわち、合成生物学、AI、生体情報(BioData)、ロボティクスなどを融合させることで、持続可能なバイオ由来製品やサービスを創出できるようになりつつあります。
英国政府は、Engineering Biologyを優先技術分野として位置づけ、世界トップクラスの研究環境を支え、この分野で世界をリードするとともに、活気あるスタートアップエコシステムを構築する等、戦略的に取り組んでいます。
今年のBioJapan 2025には、初期段階のスタートアップから成長段階のベンチャーまでを含む、合計12社の先駆的な英国企業が来日参加します。
これらの来日予定企業は、日本の産業界、アカデミア、政府関連機関とのパートナーシップを積極的に模索しています。
本セミナーを通じて、これらの企業が有する画期的な技術をご理解いただき、BioJapan会場でのリアル面談を楽しみにしています。
